Our main purpose is to help educate those in our industry that are concerned directly or indirectly with the service of alcoholic beverages and related products to the paying public.
With the high degree of publicity in the media given to food and wine, it is increasingly important that the wine waiter/sommelier is knowledgeable about the products he/she is selling/serving and is able to use that knowledge to maximise sales.
With this in mind we have monthly meetings with tutored tastings given by some of the leading companies; many headed by Masters of Wine. |
